About 11 Bissa students brought honour to themselves and the fraternity as they graduated from the Islamic University College of Ghana (ICUG) on Saturday, with a brother, Abubakar Hadi , being adjudged the overall best student.
At a ceremony held on the school campus, Six females and seven males of Bissa descent had their names written in the annals of the college to have graduated after years of academic sacrifice.
It was all pomp and pageantry on campus when thousands of graduands, their parents and guardians, and distinguished local and international guests gathered to celebrate the university’s 19th graduation ceremony.
And it was a moment of pride when Abubakar Hadi was mentioned as the 2023 valedictorian for the school, bagging various awards to his credit as family and friends cheered him up in Zekula fashion.
Present at the ceremony was the Bissa Chief of Madina, Kir Adam Yurusah, who was accorded huge respect for gracing the occasion.
