Just a day after hosting the 20th anniversary of the Zekula festival at Kulungungu, the Zekula 2024 Committee has announced a post-event meeting to review the success of the festival.
The meeting, scheduled for today, May 5, 2024, at 8am, will take place at Alhaji Yeboah’s house, according to a statement issued on Sunday.
It has urged the youth to make it a point to attend the meeting due to its emergency, emphasizing the importance of their input and feedback in shaping the future of the festival.
“We shall have post Zekula meeting today 05/05/2024 at 8am at Alhaji Yeboah’s house,” the statement read.
“Kindly let the youth know of it. Agenda shall be 1. What went well and wrong 2. Any other businesses.”
The festival, which was held on May 4, 2024, attracted a huge turnout of people from all walks of life. The event featured traditional dancing, music, wrestling, horse riding, and a grand durbar of chiefs, among other activities.
The committee’s post-event meeting is a crucial step in evaluating the festival’s success and identifying areas for improvement. By reviewing what worked and what did not , the committee can make necessary adjustments to ensure that the festival continues to thrive in the future.
