Two high-profile Nurses to lead ‘Bissa Women affairs’ at the BDA

Two top-notch Nurses in the Bissa fraternity have been appointed to direct “Women Affairs” at the Bissa Development Association (BDA).

Madam Kulariba Dora and Madam Sakina Salifu will pick up the the mantle of Women’s Commissioner and Deputy Women’s Commissioner, respectively.

They are both coming from the medical background with fame-worthy credentials and rich experience in both Nursing and Midwifery.

Their appointments complete a list of eight  individuals, who will join the five elected  executives to steer the affairs of the BDA for the next three years.

Madam Kalariba Dora currently works at the Adolescent Focal person Ghana Health Service in Bolgatanga with vast experience.

Her appointment was confirmed to Bissanewsonline on Friday after she wholeheartedly accepted the task.

Her deputy, Sakina Salifu is a Principal Health Tutor at Holy Family Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Berekum.

They are two Nurses of legendary status and have the mettle to put the BDA in fine fettle.

The duo has the responsibility to organise the Bissa Women,  champion gender equality and women’s right and empowerment in the country.

They will be part of the eight-member team who will be sworn into office on Saturday, 13th March.
