Beauty Queen Hama Zuliehatu Bansi has made a passionate appeal for more voting support as she goes into the final audition stage in her bid to represent the Upper East at the Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB) beauty pageant.

She is in a two-horse race in an eight-day voting process that begins on Sunday, July 16, and ends on Sunday, July 23.

Representative for the region will be determined by the candidate with the highest voting figure, and the Bissa lady is counting on the support and benevolence of the Bissa fraternity to clinch the National qualification berth.

With a simple text of HAMA to the short code *713*13#, the young lady will have a greater chance of being selected for a regional task.

“I am at the final stage of the regional contest, in which the representative will be determined by the highest votes, and it is my wish to get the nod,” she said.

“We are two in this regional contest, and everything is now in the hands of the voters. Your votes will make me the chosen one. A simple text of my stage name, HAMA, to *713*13# is all I need.

“This is a project, and we should all come together to make it a success.”

Currently, 32 contestants, two for each region, are in the house, waiting for the final 16 to be selected to go on the main show.

Going by the stage name Hama, the journalism student at Kesseben University hopes to make the cut for the task that will see her become the first Bissa to be in the last beautiful sixteen for the 2023 edition of the GMB.

Hama Zuliehatu Bansi, a 3rd-year student at the Kessben Media Institute, is making her third participation in beauty contests.

She contested and won the First runner-up title in the Miss College Beauty pageant held last year in Kumasi in May after winning the second runner-up position in the Miss Kesseben University contest in 2021.

But the GMB, which was established in 2007, appears to be a bigger platform for her to tell the beautiful and positive stories about the Upper East Region.

Voting for Miss HAMA begins at 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, and ends at 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 23.

She is seeking assistance from the public to help her showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Upper East region and promote its tourism potential.

Hama Zuliehatu Bansi is a passionate advocate for the development of her community and believes that participating in this pageant will provide her with a platform to make a positive impact. She aims to use her voice and influence to address issues such as education, healthcare, and women empowerment in the region.

Ghana’s Most Beautiful is a beauty pageant that educates Ghanaians and the global community about the various cultural values and heritage in the sixteen (16) regions of the country.
