Six Bissa Chief have confirmed their participation in the “Zekula Poore” on Saturday, 16th April, giving indications that a mamoth event await Bissas at the GNAT Hall in Accra.
Four Chiefs from the Greater Accra Region and two from the central Region have shown high interest in the upcoming event.
They each control a jurisdiction and their presence at venue will add more colour to the mini Zekula programme.
The Chairman of Greater Accra Council of Bissa Chiefs Kir Mohamed Ali Dabre III leads the list of Chiefs from the region to make it to the event.
He will be backed by members of his Council such as Kir Adam Yurusa of Madina, Kir Abdul Razak Bambara of Darkuman and the Chief of Bortianor and New Weija Kir Suallah Saeed Sare, who have all responded favourably to the special event.
From the Central Regional Council, Chief Abdallah Zakari Bayire of Nyannyano- Kasoa and Kir Mustapha Dawuda Lengani of Gomoah Fetteh have also confirmed their attendance.
The theme for the event is “Reflecting on the significance of Zekula” and is expected to bring together Bissa Chiefs and people around the Greater Accra Region to fraternize and commemorate the day.
The conference seeks to discuss critical issues related to Bissa Development and explore on the various steps to build a stronger Bissa fraternity within the context of community development.
