Among the few Bissa stars that have hit stardom in the sports industry is Rashid Sumaila, who featured for the Black stars in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

In our quest to bring Bissas closer as much as we can, we grabbed some stunning pictures of the former Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarf center back, whose stellar performances have always kept him in contention for national team selection.

Currently plying his trade at Qadsia SC in Kuwait, the 27-year-old is among the many individuals who are proud of the bissa tribe.

Bissanewsonline is not deeply in the know about which of the Bissa clans Rashid comes from, but trust us that as time goes on we will gather the detailed background of the gentle boy who once graced the Ghana premier league, winning the 2011 best defender award with Cape Coast’s Ebusua Dwarfs and topped it up with a league glory when he joined Kotoko in 2012.

Born in Cape Coast and has travelled that far to hit the point of representing the senior national team, as well as playing for a top European club like Red Star Belgrade, BNO can only wish one of our own a successful career operations.

For now enjoy the pictures culled from his Instagram page .

Harmless and affable off the field but ruthless in line of duty.
Hello Hello this is Rashid Sumaila, a proud Bissa Born.
At the beginning of a new task at Kuwait.
Victory won’t be possible without Rashid Sumaila who is now a household name in Kuwait.
No! Arjen Robben, this isn’t Ramos, you are rather dealing with Rashid who is endowed with too much “panga”
