Exactly a week today the Bissa Development Association (BDA) held the Zekula Poore in Accra, in commemoration of the annual Zekula Festival, which could not be celebrated in Kulungungu due to the precarious security situation in Bawku and it’s neighboring communities.
Themed “reflectine on the purpose of Zekula, the mini conference was used to launch two major initiatives – The NUNA payment Platform and the Bissa Tutorial Hub, both of which are line with the association’s Strategic Goals.
The Zekula Poore didn’t attract a full packed auditorium but it was an action packed event marked with absolute delirium.
On a rainy day in Accra amid the Easter Holidays, it became obvious the event was not going to bring lots of people into the GNAT Hall in Accra.
It was held with no pomp and pageantry, but it was the arrival and participation of the Chiefs, mainly from the Greater Accra and Central Regions, that brought moments of grandeur to the maiden event.
Bissanewsonline brings the list of Chiefs that graced the occasion.
