Elder Kinsman Samuel Dubinyanle Braimah is set to hold a virtual launch for his second book, “The Art of Strategic Planning: A Resource Book for Economic and Social Development Planners,” on Sunday, September 24.
It comes three months after the book came out of press and is scheduled to go on sale as a clear description of the theory of change approach to strategic planning.
However, this virtual launch scheduled to take place on Sunday will offer an exciting opportunity for professionals, policymakers, development enthusiasts, and individuals worldwide to explore the insights and knowledge shared in this comprehensive guide.

Among the dignitaries to grace the programme are the Lemagan Mr. Dominic Sore Payida, the founder and CEO of Technolink, the former second lady of Ghana, Mrs. Matilda Amissah-Arthur, and Professor Philip Osei, Vice-Chancellor of the SD Dumbo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies.

Mr. Dubinyale, a distinguished expert in the field of strategic planning, brings years of experience and expertise to his book. With a gentle and patient approach, he takes readers on a journey through the intricacies of formulating effective strategies for economic and social development.
His development career spans over 30 years, and he has worked at senior management and leadership levels for international development organisations including World Vision International, the African Centre for Human Development, the US Peace Corps, ActionAid, the University of KwaZulu Natal, Durban, South Africa, Oxfam, and the African Evaluation Association.
He was the first Executive Director of the African Evaluation Association and started the secretariat of the association in Accra, Ghana, in 2013.
During his long career in development work, Sam has made presentations on the rights-based approach to development, HIV/AIDS, climate change, evaluation, and strategic planning to several national and international development organisations across Africa, Europe, and the USA, including the UN and the World Bank.
The Art of Strategic Planning: A Resource Book for Economic and Social Development Planners” is the second book to be released by the debonair writer in a period of one year after launching his first book, Golden Footprints: Memoirs of an African Development Worker, in 2022.
