Elder Kinsman and a member of the Bissa Development Association (BDA), Mr. Samuel Dubinyanle Braimah, has announced the release of his second book “The Art of Strategic Planning: A Resource Book for Economic and Social Development Planners”, which goes on sale on June 21, 2023, calling on the public to purchase a copy.
It comes just a year after the debonair writer released his first book, Golden Footprints: Memoirs of an African Development Worker.
According to the author, the book has a clear description of the theory of change approach to strategic planning and is recommended to individuals involved in the facilitation of strategic planning or the leadership and management of civil society organizations.

A post from Mr. Dubinyale’s official Facebook account announced the news with a preview of the book on Tuesday, as he made a similar statement on the WhatsApp page of the Bissa Development Association (BDA).
“My second book, entitled “The Art of Strategic Planning: A Resource Book for Economic and Social Development Planners,” has just come out of the press to the glory of God,” he said.
“It is my pleasure to announce that the book will be available for purchase on June 21, 2023, God willing.
With a copy on the shelves going for 120 ghc, the author called on the Bissa fraternity and the public to grab copies of the book, which adds much to the strategic planning.
“I am hereby inviting members of this platform to purchase copies of the book, the contents of which will add to your understanding and practice of strategic planning.”
“The book has a clear description of the theory of change approach to strategic planning, and I further recommend it to individuals involved in the facilitation of strategic planning or the leadership and management of civil society organizations.”
“It is also appropriate for planning for the growth of academic and research institutions. It will be valuable resource material for lecturers and students in development studies. If you want to get into consulting, this will be an appropriate toolkit or handbook to help you on your way.”
The book comes at a time when many African countries are facing serious economic challenges, and the author has touted them as having far-reaching benefits for the continent.
“International Development partners across the African continent will find useful suggestions on how they can engage with the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the work done by civil Society organizations,” he added.
Unlike his first book, this one is released to the market in the absence of a physical launch, where supporters and friends are invited to buy the first copies of the book at auctioned prices.
He has therefore opened his doors to anyone who may want to support his effort to contribute to his academic discourse and practical field work.
“In the absence of a physical launch of the book where supporters and friends are invited to buy the first copies of the book at auctioned prices, members of this platform who want to support my endeavour to contribute to academic discourse and practical field work despite my current situation are welcome to pay higher amounts,” he said.
“If you do so, you will receive an autographed copy of the book, and I will mention you on this platform.”
He further announced that a link to the online eBook and paperback will be made available this week. Book shops from which copies can be purchased will also be made available in the next few weeks.

You can contact the author by WhatsApp on telephone number 024 196 9111.
