A selection of powerful news photographs from Bissas around the world this week, as people count their blessings amid the coronavirus scare.

Each week, we ask Bissas to send in their pictures on a set theme and a selection of these are then published each Friday on our pictures page.

24th May, 2020 was eid ul-Fitr coldly celebrated across the globe and we received this photograph from Faridat in her usual calm posture
It was Eid in Covid-19 and it got Faridat and friend observing the social distancing protocol, which has proven to be one of the best ways of curbing the spread of virus

Phateemah zahrah musah Tangari – Kumasi

On 28th May was such a blessed day the Tangaris as Phati Zahara marked her birthday with absolute Jolity.From her residence at Sabon Zongo in Kumasi she sent us this photograph that clearly explains her mood on that day. “May Allah bless my new age,” she captioned her photo.
“Cheers to a new chapter in my life and I pray for almighty’s blessings in every situation i find myself,” she added.
