The vibrant and energetic Obuasi Dancing Troupe is gearing up to grace the stage and captivate attendees with their mesmerising performances at the highly anticipated launch of the Bissa Youth Forum on Saturday.

The troupe is part of an entourage from the Ashanti region who will be participating in the event, which is expected to draw more attendees from within the Bissa communities in Greater Accra and beyond, with the Islamic University College auditorium providing an ideal backdrop for this meaningful celebration.

Its inclusion in the launch of the Bissa Youth Forum promises to add an extra layer of excitement and entertainment to the occasion, and the BDA is “thrilled” about the cultural exchange that the dance troupe’s performance will bring to the launch.

“We are thrilled to have the Obuasi Bissa Cultural Dancers be a part of this momentous occasion,” the BDA said.

“Their performances have always captivated audiences, and we believe their participation will infuse the launch with a sense of tradition and unity.

“We anticipated creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the forum’s goals of nurturing cultural appreciation and strengthening community bonds.”

With their graceful choreography and synchronised movements, the Obuasi Dancing Troupe has become a renowned name in the Bissa performing arts scene.

The Troupe has garnered a reputation for preserving and celebrating the cultural traditions of the Bissa community.

Dignitaries, Youth leaders, and representatives from various schools, as well as members of the various zones, are expected to attend the event, which marks the birth of the last structure of the BDA.

The Youth Forum is a platform designed to empower and unite the young members of the Bissa community and aims to foster dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing among its participants.

Its inauguration is set to be a momentous occasion, filled with meaningful discussions, cultural displays, and the celebratory aura that the Obuasi Dancing Troupe will undoubtedly contribute to.

The programme is poised to be a vibrant and engaging gathering, offering attendees the opportunity to connect, learn, and appreciate the cultural tapestry of the Bissa community.

As members of the Bissa fraternity gather at the Islamic University College on August 12, anticipation runs high for an event that promises to mark the beginning of a new chapter in fostering unity and empowerment among the Bissa youth.
