Newly-elected executives of the Bissa Development Association (BDA) will be sworn into office on Saturday, 6th Match, Bissanewsonline has gathered.
Alhaji Shaibu Musah Gutare, Dauda Abdul Salaam, Yamba-Desmond Salami K, Saad Kanbusu Seidu and Alhaji Issaka Nombre (Alhaji Weapon) will take oath office to begin their respective leadership roles for the next three years.
A short swearing-in ceremony to be held virtually tomorrow, due to covid-19 restrictions, will mark a smooth transition from the Ayuba Seidu-led administration to a new administration to be chaired by Gutare.
A statement issued by the office of the Bissa Lemagan invited the Bissa populace to a zoom meeting Saturday morning for the ceremony, while apologising for the short notice.
” There will be a short ceremony to swear into office the newly elected National Executive Committee,” it said.
“The program is scheduled for tomorrow morning (Saturday 6th March 2021) at 10am by zoom.Apologies for the short notice.”
Five members went unopposed after availing themselves for the various Bissa leadership role of the BDA.
They are to steer the affairs of the highly praised BDA for the next three years, with the power to appoint other personalities for other available positions.
