MK Makeup & More, a Cosmotology Institute owned by Bissas’ Munira Abubakar Nenganno, has been nominated for the Beauty School of th Year in 2021 Ghana Beauty Awards.
It comes after years of building a magnificent Makeup portfolio with a strong brand through excellent and incredible performance in training youth in the Makeup industry.
A final shortlist announced last month named MK Makeup & More among two other nominees in contesting for the best Beauty School category.
The Oyarifa-based Makeup institute has trained many youth to explore all aspects of the beauty industry while using world-class and sustainable products.
Established five years ago, MK Makeup & More has trained over 200 students under the tutelage of the Miss Munira Abubkar Nenganno.
With seven year experience in the industry, she touted among the best in the country and now among the shortlisted three contesting in the fifth edition of the Ghana Beauty Awards.
Speaking to Bissanewsonline the CEO Miss Munira Abubkar Nenganno called on brothers and sisters to vote massively for her to win the award as voting ends on the 18th of November.
I’m incredibly grateful to be nominated for this Award and I’m clearly in good company to win it with the help of brothers and sisters,” she said.
“Winning it will mark another milestone in our five years of existence and I’m thrilled by the voting so far but we can finish it harder.
“I’ve been focused on training all these years and its amazing when l look back, how it all started and where we have gotten to now.”
She heads the well-established Make Up school located in the Greater Accra suburb.
The school comes into the contest with high reputation that makes it one of a choice in the Cosmopology industry.
The Best Beauty school category shines the spotlight on training excellence in the Cosmotology, showcasing the works of schools and colleges, which are delivering outstanding education and helping students achieve their full potential in industry.
Winners would partly be determined by public voting while part remains in the hands judges appointed by the organisers of the awards.
Voting for the nominees was opened on the 26th of October, with the awards event set to be held on the 20th of this month.
Currently MK Makeup & More has over 30 students who are at various levels in their training programmes.
Winning the award will improve its mileage in the industry and that is the support the CEO needs from Bissa fraternity by calling for more votes.
