Five prominent members of the Bisaa Development Association (BDA) have concluded their tenure on the National Executive Committee (NEC) without seeking re-election.

Their departure marks a significant transition in the association’s leadership.

These outgoing officials, who served a single term in various key roles, have left their positions open for new leadership.

The BDA held a swearing-in ceremony for the incoming NEC members on Saturday, signalling the start of a new chapter for the association.

The outgoing executives are:

  • Desmond Kassim Yembah Yemboni, Financial Secretary
    Managed the association’s finances and maintained financial records

 

    • Dauda Mohammed Hashim Bandaogo, Deputy Finance Secretary
      Assisted the Financial Secretary and acted in his absence

      • Madam Dorah Kulariba Sewuni, Women’s Commissioner
        Represented women’s interests and oversaw women-focused initiatives

      • Mustapha Saad Kanbusu Sewuni, Secretary
        Handled correspondence and maintained official records

  • Parrzaa Abdul Malik Guerni, Deputy Secretary
    Supported the Secretary in administrative duties
