The office of the Lemagan has wished Bissa Christians a Merry Christmas as the Christian world marks the birth of Jesus Christ.
On the occasion of the big festival on December 25, the lemagan, Mr. Dominic Sori Payida, and his council of elders urged all to “continue to pray and work towards peace in Bawku.”
The Upper East Regional town of Bawku is in turmoil following the renewed ethnic clash between Kusasis and Mamprusis, which has affected some Bissas.
The office of the Lemagan is the Supreme Administrative Board of the BDA and has over the years shared such religious messages as a move to respect and unite Bissas beyond religions.
