Kir Suallah Sare wishes Muslims a ‘Happy Ramadan’

Bissa Chief of Bortianor, New Bortianor and New Weija Kir Suallah Saeed Sare has charged Muslim in the country to make lots of prayers and “increase doing good deeds” in the month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Kir reminded Muslims of the enormous favorurs in the fasting month, urging all to adopt greater personal discipline, which is necessary for earning  God’s favour.

“Ramadan is the month of blessings forgiveness, mercy and freedom from the hellfire,” he said in his s special Ramadan statement.

“On this holy month make lots of Dua and increase doing good deeds. Happy Ramadan.”

Majority of Muslims in Ghana began their month-long fasting on Sunday.

Ramadan is a period which Muslims across the World pray for peace and feed the poor.

They believe it is a period that offers a unique opportunity to feel the hunger experienced by the poor and to feel what it is like to be deprived and marginalised.

Kir Sare, who doubles as the “Sardawna” (Prime Minister) of Bortianor Zongo,  also called for prayers for peace in Bawku, and beyond, and for healing and harmony throughout the world.

He hinted of holding series of “iftar”(a dinner for breaking of fast)  in the coming weeks.

He took the opportunity to wish all Bissa Muslims and Muslims across the world a successful completion of the 30-day fasting period.
