The Bissa Chief of Fadama Kir Ibrahim Zeeba II, has extended warm Ramadan wishes to the Bissa people through a simple but heartfelt message.
The Chief shared a flyer featuring just the words “Ramadan Kareem” against a decorative background to mark the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
By keeping his Ramadan greetings succinct, Kir Ibrahim allows the universal message of peace and blessings associated with “Ramadan Kareem” to take centre stage.
As the traditional ruler of Fadama, which hosts one of the largest Bissa communities in the Greater Accra, the Chief’s message resonates across the Bissa communities observing the annual Ramadan fasting period.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims across the world fast from dawn to dusk, engage in spiritual reflection, and increase charitable activities.
Simple greetings like “Ramadan Kareem” from community leaders take on even more significance during this holy month that promotes values of empathy, self-discipline and generosity.
