Bissa Chief of Kasoa Kir Alhaji Hussein Hamidu Kumbo will on Saturday host the Central Regional Council meeting for the month of May, bringing the entire region and it’s leaders to his Palace at Adam Nana.
It comes just a week after leading the Council of Tribal Chiefs to Kakraba in a Durbar held by the Council of Zongo Chief to climax the Eid celebration.
Saturday’s event is the first after the Council return from the Ramadan break and will as well be the first time this year that the monthly event is going to the Kasoa leader’s camp.
It is a meeting for both Chiefs and elders to deliberate on how to carry on the Zekula course within the region.
About 30 Chiefs and elders are expected to make it to the event which will be capped off with special banquet.
An official statement issued by the Regional Communication Department urged all Bissas within the region to make it a point to attend.
“The central regional council of bissa chiefs monthly meeting is coming on Saturday 21/05/2022 10:00am prompt at kasoa bissa chief palace (Adam Nana),” it said.
“Kasoa Bissa chief, Chief Alhaji Hamidu Kumbo will host the meeting.”
The Central Region boasts of a huge Bissa porpulace, with about 30 Chiefs each leading a jurisdiction with a well established regional Council.
Chief Alhaji Hussein Hamidu Kumbo was installed in 2012 after the demise of his father Mr Hamidu Kumbo,
He is an engineer by profession and a former manager of Somotex Ghana limited.
The business Mogul now manages his own engineering company and he is currently the chairman of kasoa council of Tribal Chiefs
He is one of the huge figures in the Bissa community, whose leadership skills has impacted positively on the people in the region and across the country.
