The opening game of the second Edition of the N-Quad Ashanti Regional Inter Tribal Football Gala saw Bissa defeat Moshie by 2-0 in a thrilling father-son encounter at Aboabo Middle B Park on Monday, July 3.
Two first-half goals from Baba Morata and Yussif Yakub Computer ensured Bissa began their campaign for Community glory on high notes as they took the lead of Group A in style.
It’s obviously not the start Moshie would have wanted to make to the competition after finding themselves down just seven minutes after kickoff.
Baba Montari put the Bissa in the lead with a long-range effort that beat the hapless Moshie goalkeeper, sending the entire crowd into frenzy in true Zekula fashion.
Moshie settled into the game and kept on knocking for an equalizer, but he couldn’t threaten the goalkeeper as the impregnable defense stood tougher.

As expected, Moshie upped their game after the restart and were denied several times by the agile Bissa goalkeeper.
He made some crucial saves near the dying embers to deny Moshie from close range and ensure he ended the game on a clean sheet.
Jamal Mahrez failed to make it 3-0 for the Bissa after missing a wonderful opportunity towards the end of the game.
It was a day Bissa could have scored more than 3, but a lack of composure derailed their efforts to annihilate their Moshie sons in a regional contest.
Bissa, however, held on to their 2-0 lead to broaden their chances of advancing to the next stage of the competition.
The other group A game will see Yoruba face Gonja on Tuesday.
