Beauty Queen Hama Zuliehatu Bansi has been named the First Runner-up at the 2023 Miss College Ghana beauty pageant after a dramatic contest.

Miss Hama was proclaimed the first runner-up at the event held at the CCB Auditorium of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on May 20.

A marvelous stage performance showcasing the Bissa culture and a remarkable presentation with scintillating diction made her the fans’ favorite, but she missed the ultimate, to the surprise of many.

Miss Hama Bansi had topped the voting list with a seemingly winsome exhibition of modeling skills until the announcement said otherwise.

However disappointing it was, she thanked his fans for the overwhelming support, especially the Bissa fraternity.

“It’s a bit disappointing, but at the same time, a great experience was gained in showcasing my talent in such a tense contest,” she said.

“I believe I gave a good fight, but that was made possible by the support I got from those who believed in me and voted for me.

“The overwhelming support I received, especially from the Bissa fraternity, remains indelible, and I will remain grateful for all that they have done for me.”

Miss Hama Zuliehatu Bansi is a third-year student at the Kessben Media Institute, and the Miss College pageant is her second participation in a beauty pageant after winning the Second Runner-up position at the Miss Kessben University College in 2021.
