Gutare-led BDA hits first 100 days today, set to announce a big plan for Bissas on Thursday

The Shaibu Musah Gutare Zanni led administration of the Bissa Development Association has hit it’s first 100 days in office on Monday 14th June, 2021 after having been sworn into office on 6th March, 2021.

On Thursday 17th June 2021, the National Executive Committee (NEC) led by the Chairman, will  launch a three-year Strategic Plan (S.P.) via zoom as part of activities marking their 100 days in office.

The launch is to be preceded by a highlight of some achievements of the NEC.

It comes after months of hard work and dedication by the NEC, aimed at developing strategies to accelerate the development of the Bissa people through the BDA in collaboration with Government and non-governmental stakeholders.

The S.P. document will cover topics such as:
1. Improve Revenue- Dues , donations, investments, etc.

2. Strengthen and set up fully functioning Regional and Zonal BDA structures.

3. Improve Bissa Culture through: Language, Chiefs, Zekula Festival, Bissa Music and Movie Industry.

4. Improve Falling Standards of Education in the Bissa Belt and Promote Bissa Education.

5. Economic Empowerment, Health and Environmental Consciousness.

6. Encourage and support political aspirations and promote political tolerance among Bissas.

Other highlights of the launch will include among others, the 1 Ghana, 1 Bissa (1G1B) project.

The launch is expected to be patronized by the Office of the Lemagan, Bissa Chiefs and elders, as well all Bissa people from all walks of life.

The day will also see the Chairman engage with the Bissa people in Accra on Marhaba FM at 9:00pm in the evening after the launch.
