The Greater Accra Regional Executives of the Bissa Development Association (BDA) will be at Tema on Sunday, November 6, as it carries its sensitization and reorganization program to the port city.
The Greater Accra Interim Regional Executive Committee (GIREC) is on a mission of sensitizing and reorganizing members to be part of the BDA.
And the visit to Tema comes just a week after visiting Bissas in Ashaiman on the same mission.
“We are done with Ashiaman, and Tema is next to visit,” says the chairman, Adams Shaibu Alale.
“We are going there with similar agendas of establishing a BDA zone in Tema, explaining the six strategic goals, and networking.”
“We want to cover as many communities as possible to build a strong regional branch of the BDA.”
“And we expect a bigger turnout than what we saw in Ashaiman last week.”
The palace of Bissa Chief Gibrill Mahmud Bancy at Community 1 site one, will host the all-important meeting that comes just two months after the inauguration of the Greater Accra Regional Executive Committee (GIREC).
The visit forms part of the regional body’s task to ensure more Bissas are brought under the “Zekula Umbrella” within the region.
Sunday’s meeting will offer a platform to project the BDA’s strategic goals to the chiefs and people of Tema, as the aim of building a formidable fraternity lives on.
The program is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
