The NPA Boss’ visit to the region included a stop at Binpela, his father’s community, where he received a warm welcome from extended family members.
He took the opportunity to encourage support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Abdul-Hanan in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections, respectively.
In recognition of his efforts, the Chief of Widana and local elders presented Dr Abdul-Hamid with a ceremonial smock.
The NPA chief’s itinerary also included meetings with New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth groups in Pusiga and courtesy calls on the Pusiga Naba and other traditional leaders in the area.
The new kindergarten is expected to significantly enhance early childhood education in Widana and surrounding communities.
