Councils of Bissa Chiefs and Ulama’u commiserate with family of late Bissa Chief imam of Bawku

The Council of Bissa Chiefs and the  Council of Bissa Ulam’u have commiserated with the family of the late Bissa Chief Imam of Bawku, expressing their condolences over the loss of a the influential leader.

Imam Z , as he was he popularly called, died on the early hours of Thursday and has been buried in accordance to Islmaic tradition.

A joint statement,  from the two councils, was issued hours after the burial of the Imam, whose human relationship has been hailed by many.

“On behalf of President of the Council of Bissa Chief’s & Council of Bissa Ulama’u,
A thought of comfort and condolences to the grieving family, Friends and all Bissano all over the world,” read the statement signed by the Greater Accra Bissa Chie Imam,  Hassan Osmanu Nombre.

“May the Almighty Allah forgive Him and grant Him Jannatul-firdaus
Ameen.”

Imam Zakariya Yunus Musah Bandao was regarded as a very influential man within the Bissa fraternity, due to his exceptional services to humanity.

His demise come just a week after the Bissa fraternity was hit with death of the Bissa Chief Imam of Obuasi.

The final intercession prayer (Adua) for the late Imam is scheduled  for Sunday 28th March, 2021, according to the family.

Imam Zakari Bandaawo is survived by 4 wives and 23 children.
