Coach of Black Star B Ibrahim Tanko has opened his doors for Ghanaian clubs, as he declares his readiness to coach any team in the Ghana Premier League.

The Former Ghana U-23 head coach says he is “available” for club football task provided an offer will meet his expectations.

Tanko, who played and coached German side FC Freiburg, remains one of the highly rated technical brains in the Ghanaian scene following major feats outside Ghana.
His exploits as an assistant coach of Cameroon and with the Black Stars has made him appear more of a international football brand.

But in an interview with Otec FM on Monday, the 2007 UEFA Champions League winner did not refuse the possibility of joining any of the clubs in the country, but on condition that the offer is good.

“Why Not? I’m always available for any club that comes in with a good offer. It could be any time soon, either today or tomorrow, the soft-spoken Tanko said.

“My job is coaching so as long as am here, I’m ready and willing for any club who can meet my demand” He added.

Ibrahim Tanko’s last coaching task at the club level was in 2011-12 season at German side FC Koln where served as the assistant manager.

He had had stints with the Cameroon national team as assistant coach, before assistant Kwesi Appiah at the Black Stars.

He has rose through the ranks as youth star from Kumasi King Faisal before joining Borussia Dortmund, where he won the highly-coveted UEFA Champions League, becoming the second Ghanaian, after the Abedi Pele, for to win that feat.
He cut his coaching teeth at FC Freiburg as an assistant coach to Volker Flinks and joined him to Urawa Red Diamonds in the Japanese top flight league later in 2008.

He is currently the head coach of the Black Stars B, where they are in the wait to begin preparation for the 2022 CHAN tournament.

Rumours had earlier linked him to his boyhood club King Faisal and giants Accra hearts of oak but that was dismantled by the clubs.
