Know the Bissas contesting NPP Constituency elections this week

In barely 72 hours time, the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP will kickstart its Constituency Executives election across the country as the party set a mission to “Break the 8”.

The six days exercise scheduled between April 28, 2022, and May 2, 2022 expected to be keenly contested among the Elephant loyalist.

As part of their contribution to the growth party and democracy, some Bissas have stepped forward to contest positions, with majority being in the home region of Upper East.

Abdul Ganiyu Mohammed (Guerni)

A paternal Guerni and a maternal Dindani, Abdul Ganiu Mohammed steps forward for a contest in the Adentan constituency

He is one of only Bissa men so far gathered by bissanewsonline to be contesting a position in the Greater Accra region.

He is the incumbent Deputy Secretary for the Adentan Constituency and seeks relection on Saturday.

Hassan Ibrahim Bancey

Hassan Ibrahim Bancey targets the Nasara Coordinator position for Tema East Constituency.

Sani Mohammed

The incumbent Nasara Coordinator for Manso Nkwanta in the Ashanti Region is seeking re-election.

Fati Abdullah (Yaala)

Madam Fati goes into the constituency contest for the first time after a long-term service to the party in the Techiman and the Bono East region at large.

She is vying for the position of Constituency Women Organiser.
