Just when Bissas are counting their loses over the demise of Hajia Damata, the fraternity has been hit again with the death of retired Police officer, Sergeant Fusseini Basintale.
It is sorrowful in both Accra and Bawku as the fraternity has to deal with two big loses on Monday 25th January.
The Bawku-based police sergent died on Monday at the Komfo Anokye teaching hospital where he was on admission.
The respected officer took ill at his hometown in Bawku but was transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in the Ashanti Region.
His death report came just hours after that of the Hajia Damata was announced.
He has been a man of great service to the nation that spans across the Western and the Ashanti regions.
In the twilight of his service, he moved to the Upper East region he continued his job and retired.
His demise marks another big loss to the Bissa fraternity as he has lived and mentored many young Bissas in the police service.
According to the bereaved family, the man, popular known as Sergeant, will be buried at his hometown in Gingande in the Upper East region.
He was survived by nine children.
