Bissa will relaunch their campaign for community glory as they clash with Moshie in the opening game of the 2023 Ashanti Regional Inter Tribal Football Gala on Monday, July 3rd.
Driector Hashmiu Zenzeh’s side face Moshie on the first day of the tournament, with other Group A opponents Yoruba and Gonjas playing on Tuesday.
And a renewed hope of making amends for last year’s failure becomes the guide for the team in their mission to conquer the region.
Bissa werr eliminated by Hausa in the demi final stage maiden competition.
But Monday offers another opportunity to begin a new quest Football glory as a win over Moshie will give them a brighter chance to qualify from the group.
Sixteen teams are participating in the second edition of the tournament, which is being sponsored by N-Quad.
The community-based football tournament, involving various tribes in the Zongo communities, is played under the auspices of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Sarkin Zongo, and the various tribal chiefs.
The main objectives of the competition are to bring youth from Zongo communities together to promote peace, unity, and discipline, as well as provide a national platform for talent display and recovery.
