The Brand Bissa Concept (BBC) have expressed a “profound gratitude” to the Bissa Association of North America (BANA) for their immense contribution towards the upgrade of the online news portal Bissanewsonline.com.
After almost two years of operating as a free WordPress installation, the Bissa News Online migrated onto a self-hosting site and the BBC largely credit it to the BANA, who have “shown great interest” in the progress of the portal.
The burgeoning Online news portal was established in April 2020 as a subsidiary entity of the Brand Bissa Concept (BBC), which have been carrying various projects in support of the developmental agenda of the Bissas.
Speaking at the launch of the new site on Monday 21st March, CEO of the BBC Mohammed Abdul Malik Guerni heaped special praises on BANA executives such as President Alfat Yusif, the Bissa Chief of New Jersey Chir Ibrahim Adam Bansi and the Secretary Sheikh Tayyib, for their strong determination towards a “worthy project”.
“We are very grateful to the Bissa Association of North America (BANA) for your overwhelming support to get us grow bigger and better,” he said.
“Now, with your help and great interest, we have reached a step higher in this online media operations.
“For the leadership such as President Alfa Yusif, Chir Ibrahim Adam Bansi and Secretary Sheikh Tayyib I must admit you are so special and you deserve special praises. You championed this course and we are so impressed by your determination towards this worthy project.

Migrating from free WordPress.com blog site to self-hosted one comes with loads of benefits including monetisation of the sites.
The Bissa News Online (BNO) was established as a subsidiary of the Brand Bissa Concept in April 2020 and operated as a free WordPress site till March 20th this year.
According to Guerni, it had always been a dream to carry Bissa News online to another level since its establishment.
He assured BANA that he and his team will work harder to give Bissas the best of media coverage as part of the brand-building agenda
“Our work is not done, we still aspire to get to the top to be among the best,” he said.
“We will do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came as a part of this campaign finds maximum impact with the Bissa fraternity.”
He said the BNO plans to establish an office in Accra, with Regional Correspondence across the country and beyond.
Operating an online media portal to an optimum level calls for a strong need of logistics and Guerni believes the BNO will hit the top in the shortest possible time should he get the needed equipment.
He therefore appealed to the Bissa fraternity to support the burgeoning company with equipment such as laptops, cameras, ipad, microphones etc.
