Bissa Fitness Club celebrate Siita-Barry as it successfully holds first intra-member marriage

Dreams became a reality when the Bissa Fitness Club recorded it’s first intra-member marriage on Sunday, bringing members from far and near to witness the historic moment.

Siita Mohammed Jnr and Barkisu Dawud got their marriage blessed  in a short  ceremony at  Teshie  in accordance Islamic tradition, climaxing it with colourful party at the Kotobabi in Accra,

The newlyweds  have been hailed for their efforts in hitting the milestone, which directly gives the club a positive image in its two years of existence.
Sunday’s event was action packed and attracting a full backing from the members of the club, who thronged to the wedding grounds to show love to their own.

BFC members Masked up in showing love to a brother in accordance to COVID-19 directives

The wedding was held within  the government’s covid-19 guidelines, with face shields and nose masks adding more colours to the scene.

Addressing the gathering at the colourful ceremony at Kotobabi,  the Club’s counsel of patron member Hajia Ayisha Zerba urged other members of the club to emulate what Sitta and Barry had done.

“You all know this is the first of its kind and we are to show love to a brother and sister,” she said.

“It is a moment of pride for our dear club and each and everyone of to have gathered here to witness such a momentous event.

“We hope and pray other members will emulate them for more us to chalk more success in unity.”

The marriage of the two club-mates  comes at a time when the Bissa fraternity is on a mission to build a strong bond across its ranks, encouraging its younger generation to see the need to unite in all spheres of life.

In a statement to show gratitude, the couple said they were so “blessed” for the support given to them by the Bissa fraternity.

“Thank you for being a part of our lives and supporting us through our journey,” the statement read.

“We were so blessed to have you celebrate and be a part of our Marriage day. Thank you for your abundant generosity and kindness with your support , we are beyond grateful. We love you and can’t wait to celebrate the future with you!”

“And hope everyone is home safe!! Allah bless this family for us.”

Mohammed Siita is an accomplished business man and a top brass in the club, serving as one of its communication.

He is regarded as a unifier whose presence at the club has helped stabilise situation.

With the BFC’s aim of uniting the Bissa front, the marriage between the two love birds marks a milestone worthy of emulation, and  is expected to attract many Bissas from far and near.
They thus become the shining example for other members of the enviable keep fit group that has become one of a brand in the Bissa world.

The Bissa fitness club was established in February 2018, becoming the first of a kind to be established in the country.
It was given an official  corporate image a year later when it was launched in October 2019, having survived series of challenges that nearly got it collapsed.
Today the club can boast of over 300 members, making it one of the fastest growing associations in the country.
