Presenting the items at the short ceremony held at forecourt of the facility, Chir Ibrahim Adam Bansi said the donation was to extend his philanthropic gesture of community development activity to touch the lives of the people through improved health delivery at the health center.

“I have donated these equipment to this community as my little contribution towards the improvement of healthcare of our people,” he said.

“Health workers need modern and reliable equipment in order to provide quality health services to patients.

“This equipment will help us strengthen health system and be able to better respond to most of the health challenges we face in this town.”

He stressed that the items were for free and should not be sold to anyone, urging the medical staff to remain committed to their calling and work hard to the service of God and country.

Chir Alhaji Ibrahim Adams Bansi holds a dual Bissa leadership task in Ghana and the US, a position he exercises with respect and passion.

He has a long history of donating to philanthropic causes as part of a  move to give back to society.

He had previously made  similar donations to other health facilities including the Tafo Government Hospital in Kumasi.

Chir Adam revealed that he was supported by his friend in New Jersey, United States of America Mr. Hosam, CEO of Bloomfield Pharmacy to do this donation and would encourage him to do more since the people are very happy about it.

He said together with Mr. Hosam, they have been doing this project over the years, except that it was not given media attention.

“It is our aim to make massive difference to children and their families for many years to come,” he said.

“It is our firm believe that improving healthcare in our communities is a duty to each and everyone of us and it is a sign of showing kindness to humanity.

The Bissa Chief disclosed that he will be carrying more donation exercises at other hospitals and health facilities as well as supporting the vulnerable in the society.

He said his vision is to simply support his homeland Ghana as well as the District where his father has been living for many years.

He further encouraged the community members to frequently go to the facility for checkup since it would be done free of charge, advising that they should not delay till things get to critical level.

He said the communities were still developing under scarce resources and expressed the hope that the items would benefit the people by improving their health standards.

He said his motivation is to encourage regular medical checkups. He said he has been appealing to other philanthropists to come home and contribute their quota to the national development. He said doing this would change the impression that everything is supposed to be done by the central government.

The items were received by Management of the Kunsu Hospital who expressed profound gratitude to the Chir for extending his benevolent tentacles to reach the people of the community.

The Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, who received the items, said the gesture was timely and appropriate and appealed to others to emulate the good and shinning example of Chir Ibrahim Adam Bansi.

He thanked Chir Adam Bansi and his partner for the donation, saying that the items were critically needed by the staff of the facility to be able to do their work better.
