Married men within the Bissa Fitness Club will face stiff opposition from their unmarried brothers in a football match on Saturday 9th January.
It is the 3rd match to be played between the two groups in two years and an opportunity to settle a cliffhanger.
The game to be played at the Lord’s Wembley at Shukura will be a showdown that will confer a football pride to the winner.
Saturday’s game is for Bissa unity but it equally marks a field battle for supremacy as both sides hold a win apiece.
The married won the first leg which was played in 2018, only for the result to be reversed in 2019 by their bachelor brothers, who have promised to beat the “men-with-women”.
It’s and all inclusive soccer fiesta that will also feature the female members competing in a penalty kicks as a curtain raiser.
The two previous games had recorded 3:2 and 2:1 scoreline for the married and the singles, respectively.
But the the 3rd encounter offers the chance to either side to grab the bragging rights in the club.
They are men and women from the same club of the same tribe, and the game is just to stage a football contest between brothers and sisters of different marital status .
Since its inception, the club has been organising various activities to ensure its growth and survival.
The periodic fun games has become one of the tools through which the club foster unity among its members in the club’s two years existence.
