Bissa Association of North America mourns the passing away of ‘Legendary’ Alhaji Weapon

The Bissa Association of North America (BANA) is the latest to mourn the passing away of “legendary leader” Alhaji Osman Issaka Nombre, praying for the family to have a “heart, courage and patience” to be able accept the tragic story.

Following the death of Nombre man on Saturday, tributes and memorials have been pouring out from Bissas across the world, and members of the general public for the 62-year-old, who also served was the National Organiser of the Bissa Development (BDA).

President Alfat Yusif of BANA shared a statement on behalf of all the association, sending their “deepest condolences” to the wives and children and the other members of the Nombre family, as they mourn the man who was popularly known as “Alhaji Weapon.”

“Though this lost is first to his immediate family it is also to Bissas in general, the statement read.

Alhaji Osman Issaka Nombre, who also served as the Gateway Chief at Dabre Palace in Greater Accra died on Saturday 27th November, which was equally his birthday.

His death has put many in sombre mood but in the heart of BANA’s statement is the call on Bissas to “take heart” and remain strong for the Zekula course.

“We love him but Allah loves him best, and what ever Allah loves and chose for his servants is always the best, ” it said.

“Take heart everyone. Though we may lose Alhaji Osman on this earth, in sha Allah we will not lose him in Jannah

The Bissa Association of North America (BANA) wishes to send our deepest condolences to the family of our Legendary leader, organizer of BDA. Alhaji Osman Issaka Nombre and the entire Bissa fraternity in the world.
Though this lost is first to his immediate family it is also to Bissas in general.
As Muslims, we will say nothing but what Allah (swt) will be pleased with.
May the almighty Allah forgive him his shortcomings and bless him with Jannaul Firdaus.
We love him but Allah loves him best, and what ever Allah loves and chose for HIS servants is always the best.
Our humble prayer to Allah is (Oh Allah as bless us and the family with the heart, courage and patience to be able accept what you have chosen for us. May Allah unite us with him in jannah just as HE united us here on earth.
Take heart everyone. Though we may lose Alhaji Osman on this earth, in sha Allah we will not lose him in Jannah.
