The Bissa Association of North America (BANA) has congratulated Princess Ayisha Dabre Mumin for bagging double awards at the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Human Resource  Management’s 2021 Annual Awards Ceremony.

BANA joined a tall list of  Bissas across the world who have shared in the pride of the American-born-Ghanain Princess, extolling her for carrying the Bissa brand to another level.

She is the daughter of Bissa Chief of Greater Accra, Mohamed Ali Dabre III and her achievement is linked up with the total happiness of the Bissa people from far and near.

At the event held on the 19th of October, Ayisha picked the Human Resources Leader of the Year Award for leading transformative change initiatives and also won the Human Resources Manager of the Year Award for her outstanding people management skills.

She gave off a sterling performance during the past year to earn a huge recognition from the Federal Aviation Administration.

In a praise-filled statement issued on Monday 1st November, BANA described Princess Ayisha as a “shining example” whose achievement dismantles the assertion that educating a girl child is for “the sole purpose of meal-serving”.

“The Bissa Association of North America wish to send our congratulations to our sister Ayisha Dabre Mumin for that incredible and outstanding performance that earned her those exceptional awards at her Job,” said the statement signed by the President Alfat Yusif.

“Not only did you make your entire genealogy proud, you have made your race Bissa proud, your nation Ghana proud and the girl child proud.

BANA is an association of Bissas based in the United States. It has in recent times initiated programs to keep in touch with Bissas back at home and across the world.

BANA recognises Princess Ayisha’s overwhelming performance at the Aviation industry and her  volunteer works that has seen her linked up  with Ghanaian students and those from across the United States to future career opportunities in aviation.

According to BANA, there are enough reasons to celebrate the Michigan-based Bissa “sister”, who is great mentor to the young girls out there.

“It is important for us to acknowledge and celebrate people like you in our society to serve as a moral booster and a shining example to all parents that educating a girl child is not for the sole purpose of meal-serving but for the betterment of our entire generation,” it said.
“Congratulations Sister Ayisha on your achievement. May the almighty Allah continue to bless you and make you a mentor to all our girls out there.
“Congratulations once again and stay blessed”.
