BFC set to hold a gigantic Sunday evening aerobics at Shukura

All is set for the Bissa Fitness Club to hold a gigantic aerobics exercise at Shukura on Sunday, 27th March, to mark the end of the season in grand style.

A 4 hour action-packed events await members at the Lord’s Wembley Stadium at Shukura as the club prepares to go on recess for the Ramadan fast, which kicks off early next month.

It’s a special day for fitness club and what is always held at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday mornings, for once is going to be held at Shukura on a Sunday evening in a special fashion.

The early evening workout will precede a selected list of fun games, which will be cllimaxed with special refreshment to cap off an entertaining long season of fitness works.

From Sack Race to Spoon and Lime race, the BFC women get their fair share of the play, but it is the football match for the males that comes in as the top liner for the day.

It is the fourth time the BFC is carrying it’s activities at the Lord’s Wembley but it will be the first time ever of holding an aerobic exercise in the evening.

Ramadan marks an end of season for the club as majority of it members are Muslims and must partake in the 30 days fasting exercise.

The BFC remains one vibrant keepfit club in region with over 300 membership base, hence a huge turnout is expected on Sunday.

Since it’s establishment in 2018, the BFC have been holding special events, beside it’s bi-weekly aerobics exercise, to bring the Bissa youth in the Greater Accra region under the Zekula umbrella.

It has in the previous months held similar events at the Fadama  and Madina Astro Turfs as part of plan to link up with Bissas in the various communities.

But Sunday’s game at marks a huge return to a field that has hosted more of BFC activities than any other venue.

The last visit of the club to the Lord’s Wembley was in January 2021 where a match was organised between the Married and Bachelors for the Married women and spinsters to stand aside and cheer.

It is however a different story this time out as both the male and the female will have and equal feel of a special aerobic exercise, which is always goes along with rythmic musical tune at the background.

Between the hours of 4pm and 8pm, it is going to be an all Bissa affair at the Lord’s Wembley stadium at Shukura on Sunday.
