The Bissa Fitness Club (BFC) has issued a prayer-filled wishes to the Muslim family, as the Islamic World embarks on the annual fasting of the month of Ramadan.
The BFC joins a tall list of individuals and institutions who have issued statement to wish Muslims a successful exercise.
In the heart of its Saturday night message were a hope to reap abundance blessings and a plea for God’s “mercy and forgiveness” in the 29 or 30 days period of dawn to dusk fasting.
“Ramadan Kareem Family! May Allah enable us to reap blessings of Ramadan in abundance and enable us to attain mercy and forgiveness of Allah,” the statement read.
Muslims across the world are partaking in the annual exercise which is filled with lots of prayers and enormous alms-giving to brothers and sisters.
In Ghana majority began their fast on Sunday while the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia started hers on Saturday, in accordance to sighting of the moon.
The BFC on 27th of March brought it activities to a halt to allow members in this religious act that seen as a fortification of one’s nearness to God.
It has already initiated a fund-raising exercise for its Ramadan Outreach programme, which is normally characterised by organising of “iftar” and special donations to the needy in the society.
