The Bissa Fitness Club Ghana has paid a courtesy call on the Bissa Chief of Bortianor and New Weija, Kir Suallah Saeed Sari, presenting a citation to him as a sign of honour.

It comes after rendering his philanthropic support to the upliftment of the club, which has suffered some financial and managerial crises since its official launch in 2019.

An eleven-member team made it to the New Weija Palace on Sunday, September 17,  to express gratitude to the young chief, who has been sponsoring some of the club’s programmes.

It was a day to show appreciation for his unwavering support and contributions to the Bissa community in the region.

The citation read, “In recognition of your unwavering support and contribution to the Bissa community in Ghana, we present this citation as a sign of honour and appreciation.”

The chief expressed his delight at the visit and commended the executive members for their efforts in promoting fitness and healthy living among the Bissa community.

Kir was a huge financier for the club’s Christmas Day walk and donation to the St. Elisabeth Orphanage in Aburi last year.

After launching its crowdfunding appeal to hold the humanitarian projects, it was Kir Sari who came to the aid of the club, with a substantial amount to make the mission possible.

And at the meeting on Sunday, he pledged his continuous support for the club’s initiatives and urged other Bissa leaders to follow suit.

The Bissa Fitness Club Ghana was officially launched in 2019 after breaking away from the Bissa Keep Fit Club, which was established a year earlier—an incident that damaged a blossoming Zekula mission.

It, however, kept the original aim of organising aerobics, promoting healthy living, and empowering young Bissas in the community through sports and fitness activities.

And Sunday’s visit to the magnificent New Bortianor Palace marks a bold effort by the executives to improve upon the image of the club, relying on the growing popularity of the Philanthropic Chief.
