Women’s Commissioner (WOCOM) for the Bissa Development Association (BDA) has arrived in Accra ahead of Sunday’s get-together at Madina.
Madam Dora Kulariba would be making her first major participation in Bissa event outside her residence region since her assumption into office in March last year.
She leads a list of top Bissa ladies who are attending the event to be hosted at the residence of former Bissa Chairman Alhaji Abdulai Issah.
She is one of three members of the National Executive Committee NEC who have confirmed their participation in the awards event.
“I have arrived in Accra safely and hopefully I will find my way to the program tomorrow,” she said.
“I would love to meet many of our Women there. It will be an awesome time to spend with the young ladies too.”
She is the head of the Adolescent Focal person at the Bolganta regional hospital and had to complete the over 800 km journey to be part of the programme.
Sunday’s event is the first time the Madina zone, in its 5 months of establishment, is making such a move to bring people together to dine, socialise and unwind from a long period of hard work.
It is a grand feast, which will also come along with awards session as it will serve as a platform to celebrate and award hardworking members of Bissas in the Madina community.
