The Bissa Development Association (BDA) is set to launch an official payment portal for Bissas to facilitate automatic payment of dues to the umbrella Association.
The ‘NUNA’ App, operated by IT Consortium, will serve as the digital payment platform for members of the association to timely pay their monthly dues.
It is a digital system that put one’s recurring payments on autopilot that will ease the stress members go through in paying their dues.
The move comes in as a paradigm shift to dues collection at the BDA as the Gutare-Zanni administration seeks to boost the financial capacity of the association.
With the NUNA App, members can activate an automatic payment to the association without having to go through any difficulties.
Once registered on any of the Mobile network, a member only need choose how much to pay then authorizes that amount to be deducted from your their account each month and transferred to the association.
It allows members to select the frequency of payment either weekly or monthly as well as paying in bulk and once they select, the system automatically deduct the money from their wallets.
According the BDA, the launch of the NUNA dues payment platform is one of the many other initiatives be announced to members on the day.
The marking of the Zekula Poore, in Accra became necessary after the BDA cancelled the celebration of the main Zekula festival at their traditional Hometown of Kulungungu, due to security situations in the Bawku Municipality.
It comes off on Saturday 16th April 2021 at GNAT Hall at 9am with huge turnout being expected.
