The Brand Bissa Concept has sent a congratulatory message to newly constituted executives of the Bissa Development Association (BDA)
A statement, signed by the Project Manager on Monday, said the PR agency is “extremely thrilled and happy” for each of the executive members.
It comes just 48 hours after the Chaiman of the Association swore in some eight appointees to join the five elected members to form the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Association.
“BBC is gripped with the development of our communities and we believe that BDA will take the wheel to creating platforms and avenues to bring about developments in our communities, having elected such honorable members with inspiring profiles to lead the association,” Meyonne P. Surugu said.
“As you climb the ladder of this highest calling, I wish to urge you all to have more patience and tolerance in delivering your leadership roles.”
A 13-member Executive Committe, two of which are women, will steer the affairs of the BDA for the next three years under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Shaibu Musah Gutare, Zanni.
Among the executives of the BDA is the CEO of the BBC, Tanko Abdul Malik Guerm, who has been appointed as the deputy General Secretary of the BDA.
The BBC, a PR agency, which aims at carrying projects and organising events for the benefits of Bissas, was established July last year.
According to the Project coordinator, who doubles as the secretary, the BBC is ready to cooporate with the BDA for “the success of the organisation”.
“We are confident that you will successfully steer the affairs of the BDA to the higher heights and continue to play a constructive role in the Zekula agenda,” the statement read.
“We wish you the best of luck and look forward to a period of unparalleled cooperation and contribution to the success of the organisation.”
The new BDA administration has already gained traction, few days after members formally took office, announcing new social media handles to deal with visibility challenges.
