Mr. Adams Seidu Justice, a remarkable Bissa man and esteemed educator, was honoured by the students of Nafana Presby Senior High School (SHS) in Sampa as he retired from the Ghana Education Service at the age of 60.

After hitting the compulsory retirement age this year, the end of his impressive 34 years of dedicated service as a teacher began with a ceremony held at the school campus, leaving behind an indelible mark of fond memories in the lives of countless students and the community as a whole.

The retirement ceremony, held at Nafana Presby SHS Assembly Hall on Saturday, October 4th, was awash with heartfelt tributes, emotional speeches, and touching gestures of appreciation.

Students, staff, parents, and loved ones gathered to express their gratitude and bid farewell to a beloved figure who had dedicated his life to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning.

He was presented with a citation by the main student body and the Cardet group to celebrate the rich years of service that saw him rise to the rank of Deputy Director.

And it was a befitting retirement package for the man who single-handedly formed the school’s Cardet Army, expressing his profound appreciation for the recognition shown by the students.

“My lovely students, I appreciate your gesture and will forever remember your respect and love for me,” he said.

“Even though I won’t be around with you, I will do my best to reach out to you whenever the need arises. I know most of you have my contact information, as I also have some of yours, so that’s not the end.

“We will definitely be in contact to deepen the father-child relationships till death do us apart. I pray that you complete your flamboyant certificates, get an enviable job, and start businesses that will benefit you and society at large.”

Seidu Justice, known for his passion for education and his ability to inspire students, has been an integral part of Nafana Presby SHS for many years, teaching social sciences and geography.

As a senior ‘house master, he played a pivotal role in instilling discipline, knowledge, and life skills in his students, leaving an everlasting impact on their academic and personal journeys.

At the colourful ceremony, the school’s headmaster commended Adams Justice for his unwavering commitment, professionalism, and tremendous contributions to the school’s success.

He praised Justice for being a dedicated mentor and role model to both students and fellow teachers, noting that his legacy would continue to inspire generations to come.

In his emotional farewell speech, Justice Adams expressed his deep appreciation for the honour and thanked the entire Nafana Presby SHS community for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout his career. He emphasised the importance of education as a catalyst for personal growth and societal development, urging students to seize every opportunity to learn and excel in their chosen fields.

As Adams Justice steps into a well-deserved retirement, the students and staff of Nafana Preseby SHS are left with cherished memories, invaluable lessons, and a profound sense of gratitude for the Bissa man who began his teaching profession at Teshie JSS in Garu.

He walks out of active service with his head up and chest high, like celebrated Bissas do.

The MP for Jaman North constituency Hon Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick was there to celebrate his former mate at SHS

He is a member of the Bissa Development Association (BDA), one of those highly recognised as an inspiration and a symbol of what can be achieved through dedication, perseverance, and a genuine passion for education.
