Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen (Bandaogo) has undergone successful surgery in South Africa, marking the beginning of his journey to recovery.
The surgery, held at the Netcare Linksfield Hospital in Johannesburg, makes the 24-year-old the third Hearts of Oak player to visit the facility after Lawali and Kordie.
Abdul Aziz arrived in South Africa last week and he is expected to spend some time in the treatment room before rehabilitation work begins.
He has been a victim of long injury layoffs and is set to be out for several months to heal completely.
