The Astro Turf of Fadama will be the centre of attraction on Saturday, 6th Match, as the Bissa Fitness Club (BFC) visit the newly-constructed park for a special aerobic exercise.
The Independent Day event comes under the auspices the Council of Elders of the BFC.
It will be the first time the BFC is shifting it’s activities to Fadama Community, after years of using their usual training ground near the Accra sports Stadium.
The move to Fadama forms part of a strategic plan by the club to carry its activities across the various party’s of the region as it’s grows to the heigher heights.
It comes at a time when most members will have three consecutive days of rest following Government’s declaration of Monday 8th March as “Statutory Holiday”.
With its growing members of over 300, the workout is expected receive a massive turnout as some great personalities within the Bissa fraternity are expected to grace the Saturday morning aerobic razzmatazz.
According the organisers, the workout will take the normal routine where a professional instructor takes members through various training drills, amid a rhythmic musical beat.
It has therefore urged other Bissas to join the holiday edition of the workout, which will also offer a unique platform for fostering unity among families of the same kind.
“We are also inviting all Bissas and other Ghanaians to join the Bissa Fitness Club-GH this Saturday to let us exercise and collaborate for the greater health of the country,” an official statement read.
The BFC in previous times had extended its activities to communities like Nima, Newtown and Shukura but the event to be held at the Fadama Cluster of Schools park comes in a big style of feat as the turf looks set to have a feel of Bissa feet.
The BFC aims at uniting Bissa youth of Ghana through fitness and well-being, education and empowerment to facilitate meaningful development among the Bissa fraternity.
Since its formation in 2018, it has made a headway through a well-organised fitness exercises in the nation’s capital under tutelage of professional instructors, making it one of the fastest growing keepfit clubs in the country
