The 40th Day intercessory prayer (Dual) for the Late Alhaji Osman Issaka Nombre will come off on Friday 7th January 2022, family has announced.
It is one of the rites to be held for the former Organiser of the Bissa Development Association (BDA) also served as the Gateway Chief at the Dabre Palace in Greater Accra.
The late Issaka Nombre, popularly known as Alhaji Weapon, died on the 27th of November last year, the very day he marked his 62nd birthday.
In accordance to Islamic tradition, the 40th Day Dua is held as one the mourning process for the dead.
It comes after the 7th Day Dua and may be followed by another in a year time.
A statement issued by the Nombre family, on Sunday 2nd January, indicates that the Islamic programme will be held at the family house at Alajo, Accra.

The Greater Accra Council of elders and the Nombre family have already launched a fund to erect a monument for the man whose death shocked the entire Bissa Fraternity in 2021.
A School is to be built in his memory after the crowdfunding campaign was launched on the 4th of December.
